Our process begins with an onsite visit where we will meet with you to discuss your hopes and visions for your outdoor space. We will carry out a site evaluation where we will take: pictures, measurements, sun light conditions, soil conditions and plumbing + electrical locations. We will determine the best access paths for delivering materials once the construction phase begins.  

After this onsite visit, we will get to work on your NYC landscape design renderings. Using all the information gathered from our consultation we will aim to deliver a design that is unique and practical. We will use rendering techniques such as Autocad and hand drawn sketches to clearly communicate our vision. Plants will be selected that will be visually aesthetic and appropriate for the environmental conditions present.

For this lower manhattan landscape design, our gardens designer utilized multi colored flamed granite pavers and incorporated a furniture plan into the existing backyard landscape. A custom Ipe fence was designed to surround the perimeter garden and provide privacy while allowing light into the backyard.

Our gardens designer improved upon the existing landscape of this New York City penthouse garden. Landscape lighting and a drip irrigation watering system were designed for this rooftop deck. Furniture was incorporated into the penthouse roof design to allow for entertaining and lounging areas. Rooftop woodworking such as an Ipe day bed and custom planter boxes were designed to be installed by our outdoor carpentry team. Penthouse rooftop garden designers must always account for the difficult factors found high above the city streets such as: high wind loads, increased sun exposure, limited water retention, and limited access throughout the building.

This daybed was designed by our landscape designer for a penthouse garden in Manhattan. High density Ipe lumber was utilized for the structure of the daybed and a roll of bamboo was used as the roof of the structure to provide shade. A custom outdoor mattress and pillows were selected to provide a comfortable lounging area for this NYC rooftop garden.

A custom Ipe fence along with other garden woodworking features were utilized for this NYC outdoor space. Our company can act as a capable and reliable custom fence designer and fencing contractor. This planter box was designed for a Greenpoint landscape design built upon the rooftop deck. This Brooklyn rooftop garden involved custom built Ipe planter boxes that were displayed around the perimeter of the roof. The roof deck also featured a planter box integrated with a slanted bench. Landscape irrigation and low voltage lighting were planned to be installed on this Greenpoint roof decks.
